My passion for design stems from childhood, always loving to draw, paint, and do things that involved thinking creatively.
Throughout my years of education, I dabbled with drawing, painting and ceramics classes and knew by a young age that I wanted a creative career. I continued my education at California State University, Long Beach, where I majored in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and minored in Marketing. During my studies I interned and later was hired as an in-house graphic designer for an Engineering company where I worked closely with the Department Manager, Marketing Director, and Company Executives to execute design task that combined Engineering with graphic design.
Years later, I evolved my passion for design through freelance design work that affords me opportunities to work with a variety of creative industries. My design projects vary from rebranding, logo design, brochure design, event collateral, stationery, social media, and digital design solutions.
Most recently, I broadened my education by pursuing a Master’s Degree in Visual Communication with courses in art history, vector illustration, digital publication, interactive design and photography. My portfolio is a compilation of my freelance work, course projects, and design experiences that collectively display graphic design focus with branding integration for print and digital design.
